Shanghai Zha Bei Huatong Injury Prevention Consulting Center works to prevent accidental childhood injury, the leading killer of children in China. Together with Safe Kids China, the Center launched several educational programs in Shanghai, which included product safety and road safety such as Safe Kids since 1990. We conduct public awareness campaign, education to children and parents, promotion of safety regulations and modification of community environment.
Our motivation to take part in the project is to use the ACCORD (EU funded project, 2011-2780) developed experience and study deeper the good European and Latin American practices in road safety promotion among young people and to use the best of them in our field work in China.
